Packing is where an Odessa move is won or lost, and West Texas adds a wrinkle: grit. When a dust storm rolls off the Permian, fine sand works into anything loosely wrapped. Our packers seal cartons tight with our own materials so your dishes and electronics arrive clean, whether we pack the whole house or just the kitchen.
What’s included
Full or partial, the packing comes with our boxes and our paper, not a supply run for you.
- Fresh boxes, paper, bubble, and tape from our stock
- Dish-pack cartons and cell kits for glassware
- Dust-tight sealing built for blowing-sand season
- Cartons labeled by room for a faster unpack
- Optional unpack service at the new place
How the day goes
Packing happens the day before the move, so load morning starts with a house that’s ready.
- Materials drop. We bring cartons sized to your actual inventory.
- Fragile first. Kitchen, china, and electronics get wrapped and cushioned.
- Label by room. Every box is marked so unloading stays sorted.
- Seal and stage. Cartons are taped dust-tight and stacked by the door.
- Move day. The loading crew arrives to a fully boxed home.
What it costs
Packing is billed by labor and materials, or folded into a flat move figure.
What we won’t box
A few things can’t ride safely and are better handled by you or left behind.
- Propane, gasoline, and other flammables
- Ammunition and loose firearms
- Houseplants and open liquids
- Perishable food from the fridge
